Naija breed and born, Imma (short for Immaculata) embraces her full African nature. She loves both her friendly personality and her rich skin tone. She wouldn’t have her skin any other way because it not only protects her from getting harsh sun burns, but it distinguishes her from others. She embraces her uniqueness. She deems beauty as the way a person is, based on facial structure, character and personality. All three matter because “it tells people the way you are and it’s how they judge you based on the combination of those things.” Imma advocates that everyone is beautiful in their own way. To her it doesn’t make sense for anybody to change who they are because no matter what, people are going to say negative things and will want to judge you, so you might as well learn to appreciate who you are.
